10 years I have been the proud owner of this 113-year old
business, carrying on a long tradition of service and ownership
started by Dr. Sommer in 1900, Dr. Sampon in 1946, Bob Frey in
1964, then Ed and Barb Treick 1986-2002 before me. Our
employees also own a small portion of our lab via an ESOP.
Our mission every day is to serve what clients expect from an
independent commercial testing laboratory, with proper turn
around time and confidential results with integrity. Our talented
and experienced team of scientists perform 200,000 tests annually
on samples for environmental and food testing industry clients.
Headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, our three major testing
disciplines include Food
Sciences, Specialty/Investigative/Consultative Analysis, and
Environmental Chemistry, and serve over 2,000 clients in North
America. Many clients have been using our services for decades. I
am proud and very pleased to announce that SF Analytical
Laboratories has earned an ISO 17025 Accreditation. This
accreditation was awarded to us by the ANSI-ASQ National
Accreditation Board/ACLASS and is for a scope of testing that we
do, but it also includes the lab facilities, quality controls and
standards of integrity in our daily practices for all testing
disciplines and our business practices.
